Seat of Sacrifice
This fight is a little cray-sauce.
Phase 1
Early on he'll scrub your hp to 1, unavoidable raid-wide debuff. Heal through it. Ours triggered ~30s in. MTQ mentions there's a countdown, but darned if I could find it. You'll want to have a WHM on this excursion because your shield healer will be stressed to dig the party out of this.
While dodging his AOEs, stay clear of the edge.
Action Timers
The boss has two elements he can cast. Fire and Ice.
This will combine with a timer mechanic...
For the fire one (the "pause" symbol) get into position during the countdown. After that, don't move for the duration of the debuff
For the ice one (the "play" symbol) Also get into position during the countdown. During the debuff, keep running or jumping to avoid turning into a Popsicle.
Note: After this phase passes, the fire or ice buff may show up at any point until the end. Only without the timers!
Giant Annoying Sword Part
A giant sword traces a triangle on the floor. Don't be inside the white border when it's done.
u
(But while you're running for your life, don't run in front of this ugly dragon and its line AOE. Warning! Large AOE line! Be on the other side of the map)
Active time manoeuvre. You'll all need to pass, even the dead characters (dun worry, you get a revive!). As long as you have your meter above zero, you're good.
Phase 2
MTQ says " At this point, the boss will cheat and cast LB4. You'll need to heavily shield, heal and LB yourself."
Unfortunately I haven't been able to perform this. As you can see, my gauge is near empty despite the guides saying an NPC grants you some. Luckily, playing WHM, I could just steamroll the damage. Once I learn this mechanic, I'll come back and update this guide.
Phase 3
Soak the damage of falling pee-drops
That AOE circle is gonna turn into a growing dark-space-of-I-want-nothing-to-do-with-this.
The person with the 3 blue arrows should run away from the group while the others gather (Excuse, bad screenshot. Update coming). You'll be dodging dark-space-of-I-want-nothing-to-do-with-this during this procedure.
Some basics...
AOE will rotate. Be ready to move. Sorry, bad angle. Hard to snap screenshots when you're ded.
